I am a huge believer of place-based and experiential education and love our focus and charter. I have years of experience in teaching all grades, ages, and levels, and look forward to meeting your child’s needs as best I can through a conscious effort to differentiated instruction.  My ultimate goal is to provide an environment where all students thrive and develop a greater love for learning!

Third grade is an exciting year for your student. There are important skills and concepts that will be learned as part of the third grade curriculum. These include reading to learn as opposed to learning to read, multiplication, division, writing as a process, and cursive handwriting. Children will be encouraged to read a wide variety of books, and approach their writing in multiple ways. Most importantly, however, I hope to make this school year a positive, useful, and memorable learning experience for your child – – not only academically, but also in understanding how to get along with others, make decisions, and feel successful as an individual.
